Kenn Jackson - Baritone - kjackson@therheritagequartet.com |
Services through the years. Originally he sang lead or tenor with his family's group. He later sang with such groups as The Singing Samaritans, The Huntley Singers, Changed Heart, The Choraleers Qt., The Kensmen, and now The Heritage Qt. "I thank God for my spiritual heritage and hope and strive to be a better man and to help win others into the Kingdom of God" |
I am proud to say that I was born and raised in a Bible believing, God fearing, Southern Gospel Music loving home. Having spent most weekends in the back of a bus going to a singing somewhere in the southeast US, it would be only natural that I would grow-up learning to |
love the sounds of groups like The Statesmen, The Blackwood's and The Happy Goodman Family just to name a few. After many years of searching and playing many other types of music in the late 70's thru the mid 80's. I finally got back to what I should have been doing the first place: Serving God with the talent He gave me. Though I've been able to sing with a lot of different groups, I guess my favorite times were spent being able to sing and share the same stage as my father Bill (Mr. Baritone) Jackson. Having been a part of The Kensmen Ministry for approx. 13 yrs, it prepared me for what we are trying to do now with The Heritage Qt. I have a beautiful wife named Kay. We have one son (Brad) and daughter-in-law (Jamie). We now have two grand children, a granddaughter (Cece)and we are now blessed with a grandson (Jordan)."We are blessed to attend a wonderful Bible believing church (Calvary Baptist, Rock Hill, SC). All I want is to be able to serve God with quality Christian music that would be pleasing to the Father." |

I was born and raised in Chester, SC where I was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Growing up in the church as many do I began singing in the choir and later on sang specials from time to time. After meeting and marring my wife Deana I moved to Lancaster and joined Second |
Baptist Church. I sing in the choir and the praise team but my love is Southern Gospel Quartet Music. I am part owner in GlenMark Promotions, and the Regional Director of the Carolina Faith Riders. I have a son who recently joined the Navy Special Forces unit. It has always been my desire to be able to sing with a Southrn Gospel Male Quartet and I glad God has allowed me this oppertunity. Please pray that I will always be in God's will. |
